Ezekiel 1:10 “As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.”
Much attention is given the Four Living Beings/Creatures in these discourses of John and Ezekiel. A description of their alignment to each other around a central axis point is made clear. They are representatives of the four cardinal directions. At the center of these interlinking properties is the position of oneness and authority. This center is the center of the observer perspective. It is the center from which all manifests and energetic properties flow. The connection to the Four Living Beings and their energetic relationship to the Divine and Science is given full expression in these chapters of Revelation and Ezekiel. The Four Living Beings/Creatures are representatives of the fixed signs of the Zodiac. In astronomy zodiac is a band or circle of the celestial sphere extending about 8 degrees on either side the ecliptic from the observation of earth. The circle or ring represents the primary path of principal planets, the sun and the moon. Twelve primary constellations flow around this ecliptic at approximately 30 degrees to each other. Many centuries ago, perhaps thousands of years ago, these constellations were given names. These names represent the 12 signs of the zodiac in astrology. In the present day era the 12 constellations of the zodiac no longer follow the visual perspective from earth as aligning to the zodiac ecliptic as defined by astronomy.
The Four Living Beings are clearly represented in the Sphinx with the head of a human, the front quarters of a lion, the rear quarters of a bull and the wings of an eagle. The earliest connection known to the Four Living Beings is found with the Great Sphinx of Giza believed to be constructed around 12,500 BCE. In Greek, Sphinx is translated to mean “connect or bind together.” The Four Living Beings are clearly represented in the Sphinx with the head of a human, the front quarters of a lion, the rear quarters of a bull and the wings of an eagle. The Four Living Beings are representationally found in many cultures throughout the earth. The Maya called them Kan Bacab and were placed as gatekeepers to the east, west, north and south. This same cardinal directions gatekeeper tradition continues in many native American and other native communities around the earth in sacred dance circles. The Chaldean culture, members of an ancient Semitic people, used representations of the Four Living Beings to protect the human race – Kirub, a bull; Nigal, a lion; Ustar, a human; and Nattig, an eagle. Each of these creatures were depicted with a human face. In Ezekiel they were called Cherubim. Each cherubim corresponds to the fixed signs of Astrology – the human being Aquarius representing air, the lion/Leo/fire, the bull/Taurus/earth, and eagle being Scorpio and water.
In ancient studies and applications of astrology the eagle was always used in place of what has now become the scorpion in the modern era. It is believed this apparent change holds several important clues to the human understanding which leads to the removal of decay, entropy and death. . . .
Ancient astronomers, philosophers and scientists alike connected with the true nature of the universal principle. They knew that there is no death or decay, only transformation of energy and life eternal.Rev. 4:8 “...Day after day and night after night they kept on saying, ``Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty--the one who was, and is, and is to come.'' 9. And when the Living Beings gave glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10. The twenty-four Elders fell down before him and worshiped him, the Eternal Living One, and cast their crowns before the throne, singing, 11. “O Lord, you are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for you have created all things. They were created and called into being by your act of will.”
Throughout these chapters of Revelation and Ezekiel there is a description of a central energy process. Upon the very center of what is referred to as a throne sits the one of power and authority. This one is any person or living being who connects with the universal field around them. This means each and every person is sitting on the throne of their perceptual reality.
We are the one-s sitting on the throne. In the final verses of Revelation 4 the observer realizes as the prophet John had been shown; “What must happen in the future!” That moment of the future is now. We live in the eternal moment of the present. Living in complete balance we arise, collectively and as a society, to regain our connection to the Tree of Life and life eternal. As we reach this point the functioning energies of universal source will be in harmony with our intention. What we give forth the universal energies reflect....
